The main source of income of his site is Google Adsense. He put one 468×60 ad above the games screen and one below the screen. He also put a 160×600 verical banner on the right. He said it is the best ads placement according to his experience.
To increase the value of each click, Jon write the game descriptions, which is on the same page of the games, with high value keywords as much as possible. As google place ads according to the page content, high value keywords always attract high price ads. For example, if a game is about making sandwiches, Jon will descript the game “you are a chef of a 5 star restaurant, and you are going to make some luxury food for…” something like that. Players don’t care what the hell description is about, but
such description attract ads of 5 star restaurants and restaurant coupon sites, such ads make Jon more money than ads about sandwiches.
A large number of flash games players don’t play flash games on flash portal site anymore. They now play casual games on facebook. Jon is going to learn about building facebook and iphone app. He believe he could make more money from it.
